Radio/PCM Problems in 02 C4

I parked my car in the sun yesterday for several hours with the top down. When I returned the radio would not work. The presests will not change the channel. However, I can change the frequency manually but no sound comes out, even when tuned to a station. Tried several resets I found here in forums but nothing has worked. The NAV still works and the Climate control still works. Is this an amp problem? ANY help appreciated!!

The car is a 2002, US LHD 911 C4 cabriolet.

Does the amp do anything other than power the radio? I can understand that the lack of sound might be caused by the amp but why the strange behavior of the PCM head unit? I would probably rather replace the amp than the PCM!
