When I pump gas on my 02 c4s, the pump is stopping way too early like it's already full; it only took 8 gallons in a supposedly empty tank. If i pretend like i'm topping it off and try pumping again, it gives me another 1 to 2 gallons, so I don't think it's a problem with the fuel gauge. I have to repump 3 or 4 times to get a full tank. It's happened at shell and costco, once each over the past two days. Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks for the link orlando guy. I'll check the fuses, but it's not squirting back out, it's just stopping, like it's full. I will definitely check the fuses though!

Mine does the same thing sometimes, and it varies depending on the type of gas pump. The pumps used at BP Lassus stations (the ones closest to my house) have a problem with this. The pumps they use at Marathon and Shell stations work fine - filling the tank all the way up.
