Loren,

I have a 996 that I track more then street drive. What are your thoughts on using the 75w90NS from REDLINE? How much additive should be added to work with the LSD (car has it). REDLINE's site suggest 4 oz. But that would make it like the standard 75w90 oil. Has anyone attempted only adding 1 oz or 2 oz?

Thanks for the help

Chris

According to the specs it should be fine.

You are sure your car has LSD? It was an option then and not many cars had it.

If your car does have LSD then I would use the full 4 oz.

Loren,

The car has option codes: 220,222,224. Which should give me the LSD set up.

What are the results of cutting back on the additive? Would it case damage to the LSD?

Also, I have two other codes that I am not sure about each are hand written onto the label. they are R-7052 & W-018. Do you know what these are?

Thanks

Thanks for the data. the R-7052 is my radio code.

I'll get the tranny emptied out and add the new fluid this weekend. After my next event in 2 weeks I will update on the results.
