Piece by piece I am rebuilding this car. I took the seats out to have them reconditioned. The only issue I have now is that one of them seems jammed in a forward tilted (opposite of reclined) position. I pull on the handles and the chair wont release and pivot. Is there a cable or something that could get jammed? Thanks

Thanks. I try to look for the answer first before starting a new topic. I am not sure how I missed this. THanks. Hopefully it is as easy as the article implies. pull up and out on the central rear leather panel and then unhook the bottom portion. Sounds easy enough. Hopefully I can do this by hand. My sense is that I will need to use my plyers. Thanks again.

I was able to get the seat apart but can't find what is causing the problem. If anyone has any ideas, I am all ears. Thanks.
