I am new to this forum so I don't know if this problem has been previously posted. I have an 09 Cayenne S which has very annoying problem with alarm malfunction. Intermittenly when I lock doors the alarm sounds. This happens at least once every day. I had it to dealer who so far can't fix it. They told me Porsche is aware there's a problem and are trying to work on a solution. Does anyone else have this happening and if so has it been fixed.

Have you disabled the interior alarm from the main menu?? I have a friend with an '09 S who had a radar detector that was hooked to the ignition and the interior alarm would go off once a day when shutting off and locking. He also had the lights on a 15 second delay which when he disabled the interior alarm was all fixed. He then removed the detector and enabled the alarm and no problem.

I thought I would resurrect this old thread. I am also struggling to disable the Cayenne interior sensor alarm. yes, I can do it for one time as SA321 mentions but is there no way to just permanently switch it off? In my case, I have a dog and take her with me on errands. Naturally I have to leave her in the car and lock it. I dont want to have to disable every single time....please help!

I believe I have actually done both the central display and also the little button located on the lower part of the driver column next to driver's seat. Is the central display option supposed to offer me permanent disablement? i may have to re-check if thats in fact that case.
