Hi all, just like to say great site. I have just bought a 2000 Boxster S, and i am wondering if it is normal for Savanna leather seats to crack and crease at 30,000 miles?

I got a porsche specialist look over the car before i bought it and he clarified as far as he could tell the mileage as genuine.

Any tricks to restoring leather seats?

Thanks

Thanks. Tool Pants, do you know what kind of cost the covers are?

I tried Lexol and Meguiars' products and had no luck... Pioneer Porsche in San Diego gave me a few more "guys" to call about getting mine refurbished ... I'll let you know what the costs and results soon...

Thanks, it would be good to get the porsche cover, i guess it will be pricey. Paul are you going to do a before an after photo :)

Tool Pants, are the panels for the seat back surround and the seat base surround, or do they include the perforated back panel and base panels. Hope that makes sense, I am going by the picture you posted about heated seats hack and noticed you removed the two center panels.
