seems a little high to me. 2001 models don't usually go for that much. I think it should be more in the $40,000-$42000 range. Look up blue book value on it. If it was a 2003 it would be priced correctly

Was browsing on Autotrader today and found this very sweet Turbo back east.

2001 with 15,750k miles for $46,999.

Seems like a great price considering the mileage.

What do you Turbo guys think?

priced a bit high maybe, but still insane though, you going to buy it? I will be jealous:)

I'm sick of pouring money into my "Frankenstein" Carrera. I have near $50k in it now and it's still not right. new engine, new radiators, new clutch, new canvas top, new tires etc.... I may just sell it for whatever I can get and get a stock Turbo. If I can get one for $40K I will be happy. Seriously considering it. There are lots of cars and lots of time.... :D

And then the mods, upgrades, changes, repairs will start all over again..... When are you coming down to DP for a visit?

After the bodywork gets done (don't ask) and that loser tuner  of mine finishes my freakin swap (lost ECU programming when I changed my battery).

My self and another unfortunate member here are going to release the full dossier on Mr. Fabian Roock in the very near future. He is a street urchin and should be run out of the Porsche business. B)

You have pictures of your car with your body kit? People still ask me about my white coupe. I loved that car.

I think if I buy a Turbo I would leave it alone. Mods are a slippery slope that I don't want to go down again......... 415 hp is fine

Just left the shop.. Removed sideskirts and front bumper to repaint with the right color--I got the paint values from a Porsche dealer for Glazier White so it should be perfect this time. Wing is prepped and waiting paint. Then I will send you some pictures.. Sorry about your problems. Contact my friend at Vision if you need to.. He can help..

And I am asking----What bodywork???

I say go for a 996T phillip! If you've made up your mind, the only thing left to do is spend lots of time online to look for the right one at the right price.

One of my clients is selling his 997 GT3 becsuse his new 2010 GT3 will be here in December (so freakin jealous.) He will give me a rediculous good deal on it. Maybe I'll just buy that. Of course my wife would give me the "death of a thousand cuts" if I did buy it.

Actually I don't want a 997 Turbo. For some reason I don't care for them. The GT3 on the other hand I covet greatly
