Hi,

I have been going through my Bentley manual and searching the web for a switched power source in the front trunk. So far I have found but am not certain that an orange wire and a red/black wire on the amp has switched power and possibly a white wire near the brake fluid. Does anyone know of a switched power source in the front trunk?

Thanks!

I may have solved my own problem. I was flipping through the Bentley manual some more and noticed the windshield washer heater wires which run right above the battery. I checked the schematics and the Black/Yellow wire seems to be switched power. Is anyone familiar with this or confirm it can be used for switched power?

Thanks!

I think your best source of switched power is the telephone prep connector (Green/Black wire is switched +12 volts) behind the front console. Just route a wire into the trunk through the opening in the firewall.
