Hi, My 73 s fan shroud finish is showing it age and replacing it would cost a fortune. I am aware it was not painted originally. Has anyone been able to match the color to a paint code?

It can be removed and painted any colour you choose. Stop in at your local autobody garage and they will sort ya out.

You are refering to the fiber glass piece or the housing the alternator sits in?? They both can be removed with the engine in place with the alt housing being the easier of the two.
