Hy,

Well after changed engine in 1999 996 C4 tiptronic car won't start. Turn ignition to on, all lights goes on, everything work, car can be lock and unlock, alarm work, everything work, car cranck but wont start. There's spark on spark plugs, but there's no fuel in cylinders. When I turn ignition on there's no sound of fuel pump, but when I crancked the car fuel pump start to supply. All fuses are O.K. I have texa diagnostic and there's no any fault in ecu, also when I cranck car check engine light goes off. On each conector for injectors there are two wires, black and brown black. One is positive 12v and is permanent when ignition is on, and that is o.k., and another one is ground which is conected to engine ecu. Well there's problem, there's no ground signal from ecu when crancking engine. But engine ecu works for other things, there's spark and all sensors on engine works, because I can read with diagnostic all parameters from engine ecu.

Also if there's no driver airbag at the moment in car (airbag light is on) and there's no original radio, can this lead to ecu blocks signal for injectors.

Please some help.

Regards.

Hi,

if anybody is interested, I have run the car. I have the ground signal from ecu, but it's to fast, you can't see it with normal multimeter. The problem was in blocked injectors because engine was in garage for allmost one year. I took off injectors, it's hard to get them on engine installed, and clean them with ultrasonic. Four of six were blocked. Now it's O.K. and car run again.

Thanks.

You need to use the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to see all of the faults you can not see with your after market scanner.

You likely have a fault in the alarm/central locking control unit - and only those three testers can see those faults.

Thank you, but now is everything O.K. Work perfect. Engine was stayed for year and more and that was problem.
