Hi guys, I have done a search on this forum and rennlist about removing/installing bumperette. I only found the pre02 models with the screws on the bottom of the bumperette but I have an 04 so there are no screws on the bottom. Mine is just loose and I would like to tighten it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nope; they are there; there is just a cover that pops out. I also have an 04 and removed and reinstalled them recently to remove and reinstall the bumper.

On MY02 and newer there is a clip/frame that is inside the bumper. If these tabs are broken off then you need to replace it.

Access is by removing the rear bumper cover (about a 15 minute job).

On my '02 C2 they are as Loren states, just popped in and held by tabs. They cannot be tightened by any screw. If you removed the bumper cover, which allows easy removal of the bumperette cover without breaking any tabs, then a piece of foam over the under bumperette cover bumper reinforcement would snug it up, tho. At $100 each, unpainted, be careful with them, prying off is a sure way to breaking it.

Weird. On my MY04 there is a cover and a 5mm hex bolt that attaches the bumperette to the frame

C4S is different - it is the same as the Turbo and older 996 series.
