Can you put 18's on a car w/Sports Chrono? I have a set of Carrera III 18's off a C4 I was going to use for winters but I'm getting two different answers from the local Porsche dealers (one says no, the other says yes)

I have a 2006 C4S

Thanks!

Would another set of 18's fit on the 997 C4S w/chrono or am i limited to 19's and up

I have a chance to grab a friend's winters for free but they're 18's

thanks again for the feedback

If you look at TSB 2/06 4440 Overview of Summer Tires, Wheels & Spacer Rings (C4, C4S) -- dated Apr 18, 2006.

That TSB will tell you all of the approved (summer) wheel and tire sizes for your car. Only 19" wheels are approved for summer 997-1 C4S use.

Thanks

I was hoping I could get away w/18's for winters but looks like I need to find 19's

Appreciate the response

Winter wheels are different story. See TSB 14/07 4440 Overview of Winter Tires, Wheels and Snow Chains (C4, C4S) -- dated Dec 15, 2008

18" wheels are okay with the proper sized tires.
