It seems that the exhaust baffles in my 2007 997 GT3 are stuck. The exhaust note doesn't change under hard acceleration or when I turn on the Sport button. I had a GMG center section exhaust installed a few months back. I'm not sure if that is related as I haven't really looked to see where the baffles are located. It started well after the time the exhaust was installed. Has anyone else experienced this?

Center Muffle is a resonator absorber, it shouldn't play any role with the Sport Button which work at the flap level on the upper section of the exhaust system

cats + side mufflers.

Thanks for that piece of info. With that I guess I can take back to the dealer without getting any grief that it is related to the exhaust. Well, at least I hope.

If you can put the center muffler back on before going to dealer, you may have better luck getting them to honor warranty. Dealers are now rejecting many irrelevant claims due to center muffler.

Well here's the culprit. Speed bump bent the actuator back. They sure didn't put these things in a very good spot.
