I've got a GT3 seat I want to install in my Boxster while I wait for my actual GT3 to arrive. Rather than disassembling the seat wiring harness for my current Boxster seat I want to get the wiring block that mates the seat/belt wiring to the car harness. Is this part available? The online install instructions I've found all refer to disassembling the existing connector.

Thanks.

The seat belt receptacle is part of it. What I'm looking for is the part number for the connector on the bottom of the seat that consolidates all the seat wiring and the seat belt wiring so there's one connector to plug into the main wiring harness. I vaguely recall seeing a GT3 seat install guide a couple of years ago that called this out but the guides I find online today just have you plug the seat belt wiring directly into the car wiring harness and use electrical tape to secure it. I want the connector so it'll be easier to change out the seat.

Patrick,

Doh! I even glanced at that article on Rennlist when you first posted it. Not that I wanted to add heat to my GT3 seat, I just wanted to admire the lengths someone would go to to do so :)

Thanks.

Steve
