Hello,

I have started to experience the following problem with my original porsche alarm.

I close the door, then press alarm key on my key, alarm is trying to close locks (you can hear) then it opens them and then horn beeps twice.

Result. Doors will not close at all via key. I have to insert and turn the key in order to close all doors (manually).

What could it be and how to fix it.

Thanks.

Probably a door lock issue, you need the fault codes to be sure.

To follow up on RFM's coment, I'd say the sensor that says the door is closed in latch assem. is flaky (or the doors aren't latched) or the works a re gummed up. Mine does that when a door is open. Theres probably a dozen threads on the topic .

Two beeps for me was always my center console lid, it didn't latch unless it was closed with authority. That, the trunklids, the glove compartment and the driver/passenger doors all prompt the beep of shame if not closed properly. If you've fixed all of these and still get beeps, time to pull the codes.
