As a new owner to a 2001 Boxster, I have a question? Are there speakers in the door? I see the grills....but I don't get any sound from that area! This is the stock radio without any speakers behind the seats.

I think the door speakers are crossed over on a low frequency (bass) The speakers in the dash are mids,and hi frequency.Turn up your radio a little,and see if you hear bass coming out.Also make sure the fader is adjusted on the radio.
