Rear hatch handle 04

Loren,

Can you provide me the part number for the handle for my rear hatch? I cannot open the rear hatch. Also can you describe the procedure to replace it?

It's the part you push to open the rear hatch. It's right above the license plate and covered with a black rubber material.

You will need to remove the inside read hatch lining to get access to the two screws that hold the mechanism in place.

Then disconnect the electrical connector (by pressing the tab to release it).

Then pry the black plastic piece out from the outside.

Install is pretty the reverse procedure.

Check with the folks at Sunset Imports - then Cayenne diagram is very confusing and I want you to get the right part.
