Just was wondering why there are sooooo many more 2002 Turbos for sale than 01,03,and 04 MY's. Was there that many more produced in 02? What gives?

Looking at a seal grey/black w/39k on the clock for 45,000 American. Two sets of rims. Nice price or what?

In general there are a ton of Porsches for sales. As there are other performance toys (brands) for sale right now. Remember, these are just toys. Great time to buy for a cash buyer.

huh...I didn't know there was a 2003 996TT cab????

I agree - the US 2004 model press release said:

"A 205-mph (330 km/h) track speed Porsche supercar, a car some already are calling the Porsche for purists, and cabriolet models of the 911 Carrera 4S and the 911 Turbo join the Porsche parade for the 2004 model year."

I believe that model year 2004 that where sold in the fall of 2003 would account for the 2003 996tt cab. There were no 2004 model year 996tt Cabs but could have been sold in calender 2003.

I think you mean there were no 2003 MY 996TT cabs...I was just a bit suspicious of the data as reported...it probably is sales data vs. MY data.

Is there any breakdown on the cars sold with the X50 option? Most likely there is a record somewhere, just not readily available. It would be interesting though since it was a $17K add-on option.

Does anyone know how many 2005 Turbo S Cabriolet's were shipped to the US or how many Porsche produced?

Thanks Dennis

I think that if I had it to do over, I'd be looking at the 05 Turbo S coupe since there were only 186 made and of that I don't know if they were all the S models....most likely so..... and also being the last of the 996TT line would seem to add to their potential resale value down the line...
