Hy all of you Porsche guys. I'm new on forum, I'm coming from Croatia, if you know where's that, and I have just bought Carrera 4 996 cabrio tiptr. It's great car. Now question:

I will try to build my own PST2 with bosch kts 520. I bought one on ebay.de. There are plenty of them for good prices. Cable is standard obd2. Now most important thing, software. Where I can buy or get it? Please help.

Regards.

I'm not sure where to get the software, but I have a PST2 question as well. I have the Notebook version of the PST2, but the the battery is long gone, the machine is very slow, and the screen is incredibly hard to read in daylight.

Is it possible to use the cable and run the software on a modern notebook by creating a virtual machine using a Windows 3.1 emulator?

My other question is, will it run if I just transplant the hard drive and cable into a new Bosch KTS system?

I'm so worried this old Toshiba is going to die on me, and I'll lose my entire investment.

Can you copy software from your hard disk on CD and sell it to me? Will that work?
