The allen screws require a 5mm allen wrench. You may or may not be able to get the wrench into the hole without removing the seat. You do not have to take the screws out as TP said, just loosen them 2-3 turns. Then grab the black plastic surround piece at one end and pull up. It is in tight as there are 3 or 4 plastic friction plugs holding it in.

OK so I pulled the assymbly and fixed it. How do I put it back together though??? The bolts need to go in on the collars and it doesn't seem so easy?

There is an easier way - if you have a 12v battery-pack for boost starting cars. Use key in door as usual and then carefully peel open door against rubber seal as windows won't recess. Apply the 12v positive across the terminals of fuse C3 (alarm control & windows) and attach the negative to the door post - now press the central lock on the keyfob - hey presto olenoids will unlock from trunk levers.

I type so slow there are 6 new messages before my last one.

This is the levers removed from the door sill. Yellow lines are to the locking cam that you need to rotate out of position if that is the problem.

Dam thanks worked like a charm, my porsche's 1 month rest is over.. Time to hit the streets
