1997 boxster

During this recession we are all looking for a bargain. I was getting p1126 and p1124 very infrequently.

Found an air leak in the J tube and replaced o rings. Still had CEL with p 1124 and p1126 every 4-500 miles.

Call Sunset about a MAF and it was not in the budget. Found a non bosch one and ordered it. So far so good ;)

The OE Bosch MAF is available for your car for $170 from AutoHausAz. How much was the Chinese unit and what is the brand?

I installed one of those maxspeed motorsports MAF sensors about 1000 miles ago on my 1998 Boxster, and my CEL has recently lit up again, after being off for the 1000 miles.

Car is throwing codes of P1123 and P1125. This may or may not be due to the MAF sensor. I also installed a new K&N air filter then, which people say can lead to CEL. I'll need to perform a few tests, and in the meantime hope that the light goes out on its own.
