I am a newbie to Porsche's; I have a 2003 C4S with 19 front and rear wheels. Can I lower the vehicle without issues and how complicated is it? Do i need to realign after lowering and what other issues might i encounter? Any help would be appreciated..

It seems my porsche sits higher at front than rear and its kind of feels "floaty" on highway at front end...

it all depends on your wheels/tires. you need to make sure the wheels u have now have the proper width and offsets so that when you lower, u don't rub. i'm guessing they're probably 11" in the back? maybe even 10"? you'll have to share with us what you're running to give u a better idea around fitment.

i run 19x12 315/25 tires lowered on pss9s, zero rubbage cuz they fit.

Nice look! I am really starting to like dark rims . . .

Hopefull, the new rims/tires were set up with very close to the same rolling radius as the 18", so diameter should not an issue. It might just be the photo, but do you know if the offsets were OK--just seems like they are out a little, but again, that might just be the photo.

FYI, I went with PSS10s, and lowered it about 1.5" front and 1" rear, or to 25.5" measured at the top of each wheel well. No problems.

I'm looking at the picture and I think Jon may have a point about the offsets. The front looks a bit off. Attached is a pic of my lowered 996 C2 cab with 19's.

The wheels on my car seem to have a smaller off set and tuck into the wheel well nicer.

Like Jon said though it just might be the picture.

Mine was lowerewd with H & R springs. The ride is quite rough but it handles good. The previous owner did the mod so I don't have any details to share..

So i took off the wheels this weekend and looked for any markings on them. They have no numbers, no stickers, or any branding of any sort. They are super light and are true 3 piece wheels. How do i find the offset and the brand or model of these wheels? i took detailed pictures of them, any help would be appreciated... i have pics at :

honestly, the wheels you have are budget wheels. likely cast, too. made not in japan or germany, but probably some huge wheel factory in China. maybe $300-$400 a wheel. nothing wrong with this, but it is what it is. be xtra careful with them over rough roads.

no one is gonna be able to tell you from pics what the specs are. you'll have to get a measuring tape and do it yourself and then post pics.

consider painting the black trim pieces to match the color of the car....
