Sergiu- Hope the swap has gone well since your latest (6/9/09) post. I am new to the forum. Can you send me the "Todd pdf" (engine swap) that you reference? I watch the posts. Thanks John

Short update. I did put a 330 Ohms resistor on the MAF and the car works as a charm. It's without question faster than the 4S. The tiptronic works very well too. I'm in the process of replacing the cluster. I am driving the car everyday with no major issues.

John- I emailed you.

Really neat thread, thanks for sharing!

Kent at Premier Sports Car in Las Vegas also has experience placing 3.6 L engines in Boxters.

I look forward to hearing how your car runs against a 911.

Did race a 996 c4 and a 997 c4s. No question that I was faster. Il take it to the dyno when I have some time. I'm chewing up the sti's and evos with no problems.

It's a huge differance from what the boxster was before. Amazing power delivery.

Easyc, how long have you had the 3.6 Tip for? Just wondering how the tip transmission is holding up.

8 months still holding ;)

Quick update: 996 cluster instaled; abs 5.3 2001 installed - resolved the speedometer issues.

No more warning lights. The park light is the only one not working at this point.
