it has happened 2-3 time over one year, some times after i start the car and i put the gearbox in D ( tiptronic ) the car dies, no messages on the computer.

I'm going to guess dirty fuel injectors.

It could also be dirty Mass Airflow Sensor or dirty throttle body as well.

when you say no codes, this is read with PIWIS, PST2 or durametric? There have been correlations between K&N filters and MAFs blowing...perhaps it is a MAF issue, but without any codes we are just guessing...plugs, coil packs, injectors, TB, idle....

Start with some basic things like cleaning the throttle body. It could very well be a fault with the lock-up torque convertor in the transmission but this is very rare.

What condition Is the air filter? How long has it been in there and have you ever cleaned it?

the problem occur before I've installed the k&n filter. it has happened 2-3 times in 2 years is not an every day problem !
