Guys;

First time this year I start my A/C and it smell bad. This car is a used one and since I buy it, it's the first time I use the A/C. Is there any way I can access the coil and clean it or maybe is there a miracle product in spray for that?

2003 Boxster 2.7

Tks!

Check the condition of the cabin filter and also that the drains aren't plugged. Do a quick search for more info.

In case drain is partly clog, how do I manage to clean it without removing all parts from front trunk?

I just use compressed air on the drains. You can buy a odor eliminator from any parts store that you spray into the intake housing where the cabin filter sits.

You have mildew inside your system. Turn on your A/C and spray Lysol disinfectant into the intake.

When you are using the AC system turn it off a minute or two before you shut the car off, that will help dry the system out and prevent smelly bacteria from forming in the vents.
