I have a 2003 TT with the Bose / Most bus system. I upgraded the stereo and now I when I try to lock the car via the key fob the horn beeps 2 times.

The windows also do not function from the console switches but do drop down when you open the door.

I suspect without the CDR23 hooked up the alarm is the issue. Unlike earlier model years that just needed one wire ungrounded.

Do I need to take it to the dealer for reprograming?

Or is there a pin on the black or yellow connectors that plug into the CDR23 which can be jumpered.

Thanks! :o

:welcome:

One beep is an alarm fault.

Two beeps is either multiple zones open or an alarm problem.

Best to have the alarm controller scanned with the Durametric software, a PST2, or PIWIS tester.

Thanks Loren.

Additionally I noticed the interior lights aren't working either. I put the CDR23 back in and reconnected the battery with no change.

To the service shop I go.

Well, it was an easy fix. Fuse C3 was blown. No reprogramming required.

Not sure how that happened but the new stereo sounds much better than the Bose system.
