I purchased a used

· 2002 Boxster S

· 6 speed Manual

· US Spec Car

about a year ago. I have noticed that when I am stopped at a light sometimes I get a vibration from the engine. I don't notice any major change in the engine RPM's. I am fairly new to DIY auto projects. I was considering trying to clean the MAF. I do not have any CEL's. I have searched other threads on here but still am not sure they are talking about the same problem I have. I really only notice the vibration at this point when I am stopped at traffic lights.

Any idea why I might get these vibrations or kicking type feeling?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It sure wont hurt to clean your MAS. Careful not to drop the two screws that hold the MAS in place when putting it back in :) Also, good suggestion to replace front engine motor mount. The mount only lasts around 50000 miles. Mine is getting a new mount today. I will keep you informed how it is afterwards.
