hi all ,hope you can help

water seems to be getting in to my car, under the drivers side rear seat and under the rear carpet

before we start stripping it to find the sorce ,has anyone had this problem with their car?

996 with sunroof will have this issue, remove the rear part of the head liner to check the connection(s) between the sunroof unit and the drain tube(s), they will leak after a while.

Had the same issue fixed today. The thick foam underneath the carpet will soak a tonne of water; make sure you squeeze the water out and dry it out thoroughly, else your car will

smell like crap.

Hi there, had the same problem with my old c4s, it came from where the drain tubes push on to the sunroof channels, i think the sealer perishes, i dropped the headlining in the rear then just siliconed around the joins, and it worked fine for me,
