Remote Control

I recently purchase my very first Porsche " 2000 Boxster" from a lady, which she mostly ride it rather then maintaining.

Slowly fixing most issues but Now need an expert advice on Remote control and functions.

My remote lights up but does not lock nor unlock anything in the car Ps: when I purchase remote battery was dead as well as the cars battery some point .

Any suggestion other then going to dealer?

Did the previous owner give you all three keys ? One valet key and two keys with fob.

Please do a Search here as this issue has been covered many time.

Do a reset and make sure you have a new battery, then dealer reprogramming and/or key replacement is needed.
