Hello all, I am a tech working on a 2003 911. The speakers produce no sound. The radio comes on and stations are able to be selected, however no sound. I have checked power and ground to Harman amp in luggage compt, good. There is no light coming out of the fiber optics. There are 2 codes in the alarm system, 60 and 54. 54 may have something to do with this? It is descibed as "Additional alarm faulty or not fitted" I cannot communicate with radio diagnostics. Is this a common prob on these. I mainly work on Saabs, Rovers and Jags so excuse my ignorance...

54 Radio receiver defective

60 Central locking limit position. Locked not reached

Check fuse D8 and check the back of the radio for another fuse.

If both are good - it could be either the amp or the radio.

Thanks Loren, I will check it out and post the results
