My 99 Boxter set through a hard rain storm and the drivers side was flooded. I dried everything out, but now my car won't unlock by remote, and my power windows won't roll down.

I can't open the front or rear boot, the manuel lever is locked and won't budge. I can open my trunk with the remote key but only for 15-20 seconds after I shut the engine off.

The box under my seat was completly soaked but I dried it out and sprayed with contact cleaner, How can I get my alarm to work? and roll down my windows?

The car runs fine and everything else on the vehicle works, radio,a/c etc.

Can I have the codes cleared and the security system re-programed? If so can I DIY? Or do I have to buy a new black box?

Any info would be a blessing.

Thanks

EZ.

Check and clear the codes with a diagnostic tool. If the issues still remains, there is no other option than a replacement IMHO.
