2002 996 Cab

I just replaced my pass side regulator, the tip about the hair dryer on the foam liner was spot on.

Now my check airbag light is on, I am sure that I plugged it back in, does any one have any suggestions on this one? I turned the key on when the airbag was unplugged.

Thanks

Joe

Joe:

Turning the ignition on with the airbag disconnected will set off the airbag light every time. Use one of the three tools mentioned to turn it off. There is a thread on this site that lists people who have volunteered to let members use their tool to turn off the airbag light. You just have to find someone near you.

Regards, Maurice.

You don't need to turn the key - the air bag circuit is activated the moment the key is inserted.
