I have a 97 Tip. Due to multiple minor/moderate accidents, time has come for a full respray.

My interior is Boxster red, exterior Arctic silver.

The paintshop tells me I can have any exterior colour I want for a bit extra - if I go with Arctic silver again, it's cheaper coz it's less work for them.

I like the look of Boxster Red trim on a Arctic Silver exterior in the sun. But it doesn't look very good at night. Also Arctic silver is a very common colour for the Boxster, perhaps too common.

Does anyone have any suggestions what exterior colour would look good on a Boxster Red interior? I am just interested in your opinions. I was thinking something like the anniversary model's metallic champagn but even lighter. Any thoughts?

Have you thought about white? I have a Z that I have that combo on (full boxster red interior and white exterior. There are many types of white to choose from. Not to mention I have not seen many white 986 or 996's.

Try going to the link below which is Yoseif's Gallery where you can see just about every combination and compare

http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/gallery/

You should also get a Boxster brochure and look at what's in the book

Or best of all go to your nearest dealr and look at the color and leather swatches and put them together to see which combination you like best.

Personally I would look at Atlas Gray and Boxster Red.

Have you thought about a black exterior? To some it may look outright gaudy... however, it can give a real "pimp" look to it. This would also give you as rare a color combo as they come. Post some pictures when the repainting is done!

The top is black. I have decided to stick with Arctic Silver since no other colour complements the red interior better... Also got a 996 front bar as well. Will post pics when done.

BTW: love the Techart kit and those wheels.... anyone know where I can get cheap Techart parts please let me know. :) I asked them about their widebody kit for the boxster and they wanted ~ $13000AUD for the kit shipped... ouch. :)

My painter has shown me a few different coats of pearl that can go on top of the artic silver base - including Boxster Red/Blue/Yellow tinges. The Boxster Red pearl coat looks kind of nice.

I was wondering if anyone has a picture of a Meridian Boxster possibly with a red interior? I have searched Yoseif's and others, but found no good result.
