3.8 SWAP problem with A/C and Hydraulic pump hoses

Hi

Finally found some time to work with my car (996 MY cab) engine swap.

How can I connect the powersteering and airconditioning hoses? The 3.8 engine has different connectors, and the AC hose on my car was cut by an idiot mechanic (not me!!! hah-hah).

I suppose the thick hydraylic line can be a simple rubberhose with standard clamps, but what about the high-pressure ( thin?) hose?

And the A/C line? The thinner one is OK.

How does the AC Compressor mount. If it is the same as on a 3.4/3.6, which i would think it is (essentially the same block) then why couldn't use the old compressor and hoses. If not you cound have some fabricated. You could try try the same approach for the pwer steering, either use old pump or have hoses fabricated with the appropriate ends.
