Hi, can anyone help with this problem.....I retrofitted Navigation into PCM2 in my 997 C2 S with Bose (installed Porsche DVD Driver & necessary cables & GPS. Didnt have a disc when it was installed (by a Porsche tech) but when I got the disc & loaded it in, it came up with this warning ‘cut off protection overheat PCM’ and now the PCM shuts off when its been on for 2 minutes?? I read somewhere on a forum that this was due to an incompatible nav disc?.....is this true? What do I do now, its cost me a fortune to install & i don’t know which bit is wrong, the Porsche DVD drive or the Disc?? PLEASE HELP

You can get this message when you try and install map or update software which is an earlier version than the currently installed software. If this is the case, then you should be able to fix the problem by installing a later version.
