Hello,

I have an solid airbag light that suddenly came on! Does anybody have any idea as to what could have triggered it? I haven't been work on anything close to an airbag. :(

Thanks!

Most likely a seat belt buckle. See the TSB on this.

You will need the Durametric Software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to read the fault code(s) and rest the airbag light (once the fault is corrected).

Thanks Loren! Unfortunately I don't have any of the tools nor do I have access to them. I guess it's off to the shop!

Are there any other code readers that can reset an airbag light?

Answered many times here if you care to try our Search.

Only Durametric Software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester can turn off an air bag light.

There is a thread here that lists the location of members who have one of the three above-enumerated tools and that are willing to reset your airbag light.

I'm on Long Island, and, if you are in the area, I'd gladly do it for you.

I don't know what part of Pennsylvannia you are in, but also look for that thread and you may find someone near you.

Regards, Maurice.
