Can someone tell me how the windows are supposed to open/close? Every time I hit the window buttons, it ALWAYS performs a "one touch" function, either opening or closing the window completely. Should it not open to the desired height, if you keep the button held down/up manually? Can't seem to avoid the "one touch " feature.

Thanks in advance.

Just push with sense til the first resistance you can feel, and hold the button till the desired window height is reached.

I assume that you mean a firmer push and hold?

Thanks,

Try resetting your windows. Push button up to roll up, keep held until window all the way up then hold for additional 5 to 10 seconds. Then push button down to roll down, hold until all the way down and an additional 10 seconds. This trick works in most cars.

Thanks to all....

While working on other repairs, I noticed the windows reset after removing and reconnecting one of the battery leads for say 30 seconds or so. You will need to move the windows to both the full up and full down position to reactivate/reset the one-touch up/down motion.
