Hi I am a newbie with a 2004 boxster S, if my understanding is correct the CDR23 does not need a code. Is there an internal fuse in the radio itself apart form the 2 x 15 amp fuses in the main fusebox. Car was stored for winter and upon installing battery I reversed the +/- terminals momentarily. Everything works fine other than the radio showing no sign of life. I thank all in advance.

Hello,

i'm an 04'S owner myself ..have you tried checking the fuses yet? if they've checked out fine,i would try to disconnect the battery cables again and leave it for about 10 to 15 min and try to re-connect cables in the proper polarity (neg-/pos+) and see if the radio resets itself, you might have to re-program all the other settings ie: memory seats etc..

good luck !

Hmmmm I had my CDR-23 out just yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I saw a 10A car fuse at the back.
