Changing exhaust tips on 08 BoxsterS

Hello I was going to change my stock exhaust tips off 08 Boxster-S for the newer RS-60 style. It looks pretty straight forward but has anyone done this and are there any catches or tricks to know about?

Ask the parts guys at our sponsor www.sunsetporsche.com. They have good pricing too (approx. $310).

Keep in mind the RS 60 has a modified version of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust), so, it may not be plug-and-play.

Thanks for advice, I called and checked and you can loosen stock mufflers and slip this one right on with no hassle or modifications. FYI apparently they have a new "improved" version of the RS60 tips what that was Suncoast wasn't sure.

I bet that is going to look quite nice if you do go forward with it. I was just now looking at an NHP version which appears similar in nature from Maxspeed Motorsports...little less $. Please do post some pics once installed. Any plans for your stock S tip?

I will probably sell stock tip if I can. I will post pix on my registry. I am trying to combine highlights of both the RS-60 and the Limited Edition in 1 car.

Completed this mod a couple of weeks ago, nice improvement. I believe there is a subtle change in the sound since there is now 2 pipes from the T versus one that the OEM has. I went to the dealer for installation since it does involve loosening one of the mufflers. It can be a DIY if you are able to lift the car enough to get at the muffler.
