Hello board members.

While surfing the web I came across d2 racing rs coilovers for a 986, which are less than $1000. Any one have any opinions. I don't race. Just looking to lower and get rid of some of the squeeks in the left front end.

I currently have these D2 racing coil over suspension on my 2000 boxster. I've had these installed on my car for more than a year now and the ride is still good. It is a very firm riding set up though. I had OE suspension on H&R spring prior to this set up. My previous shocks were making strange noises when going over parking bumps. The D2 shocks are very firm in comparison to my friend's bilstein PSS9. I have my set up at the tallest and medium setting and have not bothered to adjust the settings after initial installation. The boxster rides as stiff as my lotus elise with sport suspension. It could be a good thing if you participate in track events.

Tkanks I was going to do the H&R setup. But becasue of the squeeks though it be best to replace with coilovers. I am debating over D2 racing and Ksport Kontrol.
