Considering picking up this 1996 911 C4S; Ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ht_21103wt_1066

It's got 87K miles, and apparently has the following needs:

Replace Engine Compartment Lid Shocks

Replace Trunk Lid Shocks

Replace Drivers Window Switch

Reseal Engine

Reseal Transmission

Reseal Front Differential

Reseal Power Steering Rack

Front and Rear Brakes

Front Tires

Diagnose Check Engine Light

Think its going to go for around 24K - Worth bidding or stay away?

eBay car buying is never a good idea unless you or someone you know can look at the car before your purchase. Also, this car clearly needs a ton of work. Knowing how bad prices are for parts, I would stay away from this one. If you really want a 993, wait this one out for a better example. PPI is ALWAYS a good idea, even after having a ton of research under your belt. Good luck with the search!

I wouldn't even consider this vehicle. Search for a 911 that has been maintained as this one will most likely nickel and dime you to the poor house.
