Hello everyone,

I found some information regarding hesitation but am looking for clarification. Today while turning left and pulling out into traffic our 04 CS hesitated. We have had our car for about 2 and a half years and this is the first time this problem has happened. Is reprogramming the fix? If so why would it take so long to surface? I have not hooked up the Durametric yet to see if any errors are present but will update this post if I find any. It did not feel like a transmission issue, it was more like no response between the throttle and the engine. I read another post that said the fix was a "air mass sensor/kickdown adaptation". Anyone have a handle on this? This is my wifes car and we have 2 year old daughter. I would hate for her to to have an accident.

Regards,

Scott

Update: Durametric posted no errors.

Loren, is this something the dealer would charge you for? The car is no longer under factory warrenty.

Regards,

Scott

Yes and know. If you have have a history of this complaint then a good dealer would certainly fix it for free.
