Hey everybody, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but I did try searching but found no conclusive information.

My question is, does anyone know what it takes to retrofit the spare wheel holder to a 04 Cayenne Turbo? I have this part number:

955 044 000 21

but I'm not sure if it includes everything I need, judging from the pics I've seen of this option installed you either need a different bumper or one needs to take it to a specialized shop (and they need detailed instructions, does the part number include them?).

I don't live in the US and I don't have access to a qualified Porsche dealership. I don't mind paying for the installation as long as everything is included and properly explained.

I did find some "TSB's" that apparently addressed the installation process but I was unable to download them anywhere.

Thank you all very much for you patience and help.

Yes, that is the correct part number for the complete kit.

There is a 12 page TSB with that and the installation instructions.

All TSBs are available here for viewing by our Contributing members only.

Thank you for your reply, I'll check out the TSB here. One more question, does the bumper get modified or do you get a new one?

Thank you!

There is a great deal of detail in the TSB. It will depend on the options on your car - in many cases you will need "other" parts.

Hey, I'm a contributing member now :D, do you have that TSB number?? Thank you.

TSB 4/04 4456 Spare Wheel Carrier Installation Instructions (I No. 1G3) -- dated Aug 11, 2004

Or, you could just go to the Cayenne section and search for "spare wheel".

Is the "Cayenne Technical manual" available somewhere?
