996 Cab v 3.2 boxster s

I've got a dilema do i buy a 1998 996 cab, 100,000 on the clock or a 2003 boxster s 3.2, 25,000 on the clock? Both in good condition, priced the same £16000, running costs about the same (insurance, fuel, etc) The car i buy will be my daily runner approx 400-500 miles per week, mostly motorway. Bored of my diesel. Which would you go for?

The Boxster S is a blast and with 75% fewer miles it's a clear no-brainier.

The 996 is usually my strong preference, but with a 1998 with 100,000 and the well known problems with the 3.4 engines, particularly with the early engines, I would probably go with the Boxster. 500 miles a week puts alot of mileage on a car quickly. Also, they say the 3.2 M96 engines are among the strongest.

Thanks guys, it looks like either wait for a low mileage 996 coupe or get the boxster and maybe get a newer 996 cab in a few years.
