2002 is pre-most...there are several of simple options to connect the iPod to the OEM stereo....use the search function.

Yes, theres the Solisto and the Icelink one but those are a pain to get, on top of which they don't give you full control of the iPOD, just playlists. I'd much rather just goto Best Buy and pick up a deck there(as i have a few giftcards to use).

I have an extra Solisto for a Nav 2002 996, brand new in the box with all instructions and cables. I am in Colorado and I have it in my car now and it took me less than 30 minutes to install it myself. You do lose your CD changer but sound quality is excellent. The controls are a bit weird. You get 5 play lists as CD1 - CD5 and CD6 is for direct control from your ipod. Sometimes when you turn the engine off and then get back in the car later, the ipod starts over from the beginning instead of from where you left off. It does charge your ipod so that is nice. If interested, do a google search for Solisto ipod for porsche and the site gives you a lot of info. Then contact me. It was about $200 including shipping.
