After driving my car for about 20 minutes,I had my car lifted with a floor jack at the proper lift point. I was checking the shift cable when i heard a sound (almost like a slightly metallic burp) then I saw what appeared to be oil come down the driver's side and onto the ehaust. It was a significant amount of oil--probably half a cup. I feared the worst, but it cranks and runs fine. Good oil pressure and no additional leaking. Ran the car an addition 10 -15 minutes of hard driving and everything looks fine with good oil pressure.

Any ideas?

Check your motor mounts.

Are the motor mounts oil filled? if so what kind of damage will I do if I continue to drive the car for a while?

Is this a reasonably easy DIY?

Lastly, If not an easy fix, what is typical cost of repair at dealership?

Thanks in adavance.
