Hello. I want to add one more alarm to my boxster 2.7. Is it possible at all to keep the original one in place and have one more at the same time? Someone raised this question before, but I have not seen any answers or comments on how to do this.

Why would this be necessary? What about adding someting like LoJack instead?

to make some loud noise when someone tries to push, lift, touch the car and steal lights, mirrors etc. just to scare people off and attract attention. what's a lojack? i am not worried about the being stolen? just about not very smart/good people doing stupid stuff i don't want to pay for.

Shboxster, LoJack is a theft recovery system, hidden in the car, FYI.

thanks, theft of the car is not my concern. my worry is the headache and bills i would have to pay if somebody takes off some parts they like. correct me if i am wrong, but the original alarm does not sound unless someone tries to open a boot or a car. this means that anything on the outside can be removed and taken away. i am looking to install something that makes hell of a lot of noise. is it possible?
