can anyone post a a list of specific fuse locations for the drivers side box?

how do you remove that panel to get access?

i am having an issue with my indicator light ("check indicator warning") and my right signal flashes rapidly

funny thing is the indicator will start working again when i turn the car off/on again. i replaced the bulb and that didn't fix the issue. i figure i should replace the fuse.

this issue started happening after i installed aftermarket xenon fogs. i do not know how the indicator warning could be related to the fogs. i want to check all possible issues before i take it to the dealership as they might void warranty / blame it on fogs and charge me lots of $$.

thanks

matt

Cayenne's have 3 main fuse boxes, i highly recommend buying or download a manual, there are numerous of fuses and relays, you almost need a PDF file. The indicator issue is rather a bad contact bulb/bulb holder - bulb holder/headlight unit or connector.

i found fuses in the manual. thx

its not the bulb because i replaced it

i doubt it is the bulb holder because i swapped it to other side and the issue persists on the original side.

i am going to try some bulb grease

quick update

fuse is all good & bulb is brand new. i also added some di-electric grease at connection points.

i have no clue what is going on here and the error message is making me go mad....

i unplugged the fog light fuse to make sure the issues were not related and the error persists

any ideas?

thanks

if i take the car into the dealership for warranty i will likely have to replace OEM fogs so they don't void my electrical warranty?

Replace the socket and that should sort things out. You can also check the electrical socket in the fender for any damage.
