P1505 Throttle Jacking Unit, Control Range – Open Circuit

The throttle angle demanded by the DME control module is achieved by means of a digitial position controller. The rapid and precise setting of the desired throttle position is of major importance for the quality of charging control. If a control range fault occurs, the actuator current for the throttle drive motor exceeds or falls below the nominal value.

Check the connections - reset the fault code and see if it comes back.

Thank you Loren, you are truly a Saint. Sorry for the lack of intro, will get more info once I get her running straight. Bloody supercharger has just been nothing but endless trouble.

I got this fault after cleaning the throttle body with electrical cnotact cleaner. I also got P1508, which maybe to due to another blown MAF (don't know why the evo kit uses the K&N filter.)

Which contacts should I be checking?

Thanks again.

P1508 Torque Comparison Function Monitor – Signal Implausible

DME control fault.

There are only two connectors on the throttle body - one is throttle position sensor(smaller of the two) and the throttle jacking (the large one).

Inspect and clean the connectors on both and check the wiring for damage.
