Hi, I have gone through the articles, was wondering what is the best way to route the BTA1500 mic cable from the hood to the cabin. Have installed the unit but have not done the mic yet, any suggestions would be great.

thanks.

That is it. Just cut an "X" and pass your wires through it.

OK, I got the BTA 1500 wirew through the firewall through the grommet on the DRIVER'S SIDE behind the battery (passenger side was too tough). Can anybody tell me the best way to get the BTA 1500 wire from the battery bay through the wall that separates the battery bay to the trunk? The rubber grommet behind the power brake assist appears to be a candidate, but this is another very tough grommet to get through. Is there an easier way?

For reference, there is a large, unused grommet behind the carbon canister in the trunk. This goes between the trunk and the battery compartment. To get at it, you have to remove the CD change (rotate/lift up and out on plastic brackets) and then loosen the carbon canister (looks like a black Pellican case).

I am going to try this tonight and report back with pictures.
